There’s nothing we love more than meeting inspiring makers and exploring new wine regions — near and far. From each vineyard’s one-of-kind personality to the extraordinary growers and winemakers we’ve cultivated relationships with throughout the years — these ingredients and most importantly the relationships, all deliciously collide to color and enhance every distinct site.
With the 2021 vintage, we continue to embark on our journey of exploring new regions. With this season, we have broadened our reach to the beautiful Santa Lucia Highlands, with Pinot Noir sourced from our dear friends, the Franscioni and Pisoni families. This limited production wine will be released in the Spring of 2024. We will also release our 2021 Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir from the reputable Spear vineyard in the western foothills of Santa Barbara County and our Russian River Valley Chardonnay, comprised of grapes sourced from the renowned Ritchie vineyard, Square Peg and Ellen Lane vineyards.
The current release includes the long-awaited return of our flagship CHEV Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. A beautiful blend of vineyards sourced from vineyards that have been part of our winery family for over a decade, like Koplen and Black Oak vineyards, and sourced from our very own estate fruit in the heart of the Russian River Valley.
Also included in this release is the return of our 2021 Oregon Pinot Noir from the world-renowned Willamette Valley.
